Esther is the story of a courageous woman who saves her nation through the influence she obtains as the result of an arranged marriage.
Definitely inspired by, but in no way a retelling, of the Book of Esther, this story takes place on the Planet of Perac where for centuries the race of Artisans has been shaping the culture through art and prophecy. Recent developments however have caused an increase of distrust and prejudice against the Artisans and their craft. On the brink of war with their mortal enemies, a grand underground prophecy is developing that could be the key to the security of all Perac. When Esther learns of the plot against the king as well as a shocking secret about herself, will she be able to unravel the web of deception in time to stop the genocide of an entire race of people?
